A series of unfortunate events (that happened FOR me)

The sun is still high, but the day ends with a hug at the path atop a train station.

I can’t reach anyone, though the streets are celebrating.

There are no seats at the social club.

I go to the movies. Again, no seats.

I’m home alone waiting for the sun to finally quit the ceiling.

For once, I’m not wondering ‘why me?’ And feeling sorry for myself.

That’s because I know all this happened to nurture my body and spirit. I am forced indoors with no one.

It happened for me. Thank you.

Hum.
